We are in the age of Ai my last company work for Ai has been a core of technology that has been applied to our systems when placing order it will suggest the best offers and even our ordering system is based on Ai so we can present the best offers. In music its little different the software use to record my music in my DAW. Has Ai functionality. So that can speak and say start recording or stop recording. In the music development that can upload my music and words. Ai looks at my music and enhances different parts when developing. I either take note or reject it. Based on the music Ai puts out. I will overdub the drums, replay the bass and guitars. My vocals sent to another application use a demo of my vocals when I was 30 so can I have the best recording as possible. I will even play piano and keyboards use VST technology from my midi files. See what is the best sounds that I can bring. So the human element it’s about 75%, Ai 15% and VST 15%. My words are my own Ai might suggest few words here or there. But still my ideas.

One of my music production companies I use for Ai for getting inspiration ‘Suno’ just signed a deal with Warner Music Group. This company has grown thru the years. Until lawsuit was filed last year. It’s something that taking place right now. The labels want to take better control of Ai since they are not developing as fast as companies like Suno. The only way is taking them to court and sue them for copyright infringement. But what the major labels are looking for is to partner up with them so that they can train their models of their artist so they can create another Spotify. Spotify has about 700million subscribers while Suno has 100million. Still not sure what this will bring to the table. Time will tell. Hopefully it will help my direction of music. Right now looking at the positive. Let you know give you more of an update.

After 6 months completed 2 single and 10 songs. This album was a lot of fun using Ai in certain parts mostly in my voice. Clone my vocals from an old demo had single track from a recording did back in 1994, Playing piano, guitar and bass also did drum programming. This album was very different. Also use midi recording convert to VST. Work on those 5 songs when was 17 to 23 years old. Think will remix of some of the past songs to make it sound better. Lately been a huge fan of fusion pop rock country as it fits to my style of music. Love being very organic. Being one man band it does get challenging. Currently doing final master and final review. Right now waiting on our distributor see if they will allow me to send it the way I’ve recorded. Let you know. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Coming up in a few weeks will be release of ‘Needing Your Help Today’ song writing with my brother John. And “Justice For The Poor’ written with Brian Hanson. Both will be remixes, Needing Your Help Today and Justice For The Poor were released on 1st album in 2020. And then 10 new songs will be on the 7th album with 5 songs from my early days when was with the group, The Capitalists. Used the portastudio Tascam to clone my voice when was 30 years old using Ai for a stronger and wider voice. Virtual Studio Technology to overdub the drums. Band In The Box and Ai for music direction as music assistant. My DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Luna Recording Software for a professional sounding studio. Best album been part of. Thanks to some local talent from Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina.

Spent last few weeks in my studio (Tradewind Studios in Raleigh, NC). Editing drums etc. HiHat, Snare, Toms, Crash Cymbals. Use my keyboard Yahama. Editing my bass guitar, String Ray. My acoustic guitars Taylor, Talkamine and Ovation. Working on recording my vocals. A song for me takes about 2 months to complete. Almost done with this project. Then will have a final mix review and then master it thru Steinberg Wavelab and pick a few dates for the release either going with April 17 my son birthday or June 2nd, 2026 date meet my love of my life Sirlene. This is a new way of recording for me. As don’t have a band. Everything is relied on me known as D.I.Y. Do it yourself. With 33 years as a solo artist and written 450 songs with 6 albums and 1 single and over 300,000 audio streams continue to keep it going to see what’s the highest level can competite. Under a new publishing deal with TooLost LLC partners with BMG Administration and involved with music promoter and music supervisor company. Things could be better. The use of Ai has open my world for ideas as a training tool like Band In The Box as well. Using Virtual Studio Technology. Already can’t wait for the next album it will more of rock and roll album stay tuned for that starting in 2026.

Just wrap up recordings on You Always Be, Breaking These Chains, Your On My Mind, Need You By Myself, I Know There A Long Way. Working on last 3 songs, ‘Goodnight My Love written with my brother John as a guitar lesson when was teenager made it into a song. Bringing a song wrote in August 2023 ‘Brazil’ and ‘Myrtle Days’ during a trip with friends. Then I will be revisiting the whole album we haven’t picked a release day but it will be out sometime in 2025. Been fun re-programming the drums, playing the bass, acoustic guitars including my 12 string Takamine. Bringing out my Epiphone Les Paul, Taylor Acoustic and my Sterling Bass Guitar. My piano by Shamick and Yamaha as my Midi Controller for VST Instruments. Also using Ai to work on my vocals where took demos when I was 30 combine with my voice of today it feels like singing with another person but really it’s another shade of my voice. Next year will do some promotion with my promoter as we are continuing growing my streamings. Looking to do Ai Video haven’t seen what were are looking for. So the time being we are holding it back until we see if there something that we looking to try.

Coming up are 2 brand new singles, ‘Justice For The Poor and Needing Your Help’. These songs have deep messages and they are amazing song. They will be re-recorded and remixed for this releases. Technology has really step up which allows me to really give it a much fuller sound. With Ai Capability to grab my voice from 30 years back using demos. And run it by Ai to clean up my voice. Also input my keyboards and piano, acoustic guitars and bass. Justice For The Poor was written by Brian Hanson and myself. Needing Your Help Today was written by brother John Cunha and myself. Been using VST Instruments since 1999. Using Recording System Software ‘Luna’ similar to Pro Tools. These two singles should be coming out in a month or two maybe by the end of 2025. New album in 2026 ‘My Darkest Hour’.

Today reach a new milestone 300K Streams thru Spotify, Soundcloud, Sugo Music, BMI, Soundclick, TooLost and Audiosparx since 2012. As a musician and songwriter, recording artist. The name of the game is to promote. Work with a few companies in promoting. Like getting into Playlist can be real valuable. Another one is that they do some promotion for me in Spotify, Soundcloud but they also do other social media promotions. Writing a review can be huge. Important to create a fan base having email address great way to sell your merch. One of the great auto responders is AWeber, Getresponse, Chipmail used AWeber myself. Put a link on your website create splash page. Then need to create templates for an email to go out every 48-96 hours. Giving customers latest and greatest updates on shows, new releases, project and merchandise. It’s alot of work but well worth it. The company that I use to promote my work is Artistrack love them there is another one called EM Network. They usually will put up great results but need to be careful that they use real organic which is important for small independent artist. Getting added to playlists after releasing a song can help with visibility and trigger the algorithm. The team was responsive, professional, and truly supportive throughout the process. The results have been incredible—I’ve gained so many new subscribers and likes! It’s refreshing to find a company that is both professional and genuinely cares about artists. As of May 9th, 2025 joined a new distribution company, ‘TOO LOST LLC’ from my older distributor. Found them to have a great back office to monitor not only the sales, but how it’s being distribute. Check for daily stream counts. Give you latest and greatest on technology format lets you know which song and location is doing well. Huge benefit from the last distributor where you have to do your reach and see which song is doing real well. That way can market the best song on the internet. Short after May 23rd, 2025 was accepted by BMG Publishing partners of TOO LOST LLC. A major publisher top 4 in the world. This is a huge news for me As they look into all my mechanical rights. Going with a new distributor you have to start from ground zero takes 6-12 months to see benefits. But they have a lot to offer. Sometimes the best decision is the one that you ending making that you been waiting patiently. Currently working on a new album to be release sometime in 2026. Called, ‘My Darkest Hour ‘about gathering 30 years of recording demos and cleaning them up from tape using my Tascam Portastudio 464 to digital on my Apple Laptop Pro in Luna Recording Software. Always been into using technology for my recordings so that it sounds full starting with Cakewalk Sonar, Cubase, Reaper, Presonus Studio One and Lunar. Applying VST Instruments to my recordings. The use of Ai been great helping me with my lyrics, music and sound recording gathering new ideas. With me been one man band playing guitar, bass and piano. Always open getting the help when I need it. Maybe working next project with local and musician friends that I know. Tony Cunha has announced the release date for his highly anticipated new album, “Wreath of Shells,” set to hit shelves on February 18^th.. The album promises to be an exciting fusion of rock, pop, blues and country and classical influences, featuring an impressive array of arrangements produced by Tonito Ze. This makes his 6 album project released in 6 years. At the end of the album we see Tony playing his paino ‘Samicka’ the song called, ‘Wreath of Shells’. On this album we see him playing guitar, bass and piano. With a total of 11 songs,

Top songs include, ‘Without You’, ‘In My Life and In Your Life’, ‘No Matter What’. In this album we see him playing slide guitar influenced by The Eagles. On Soundclick Music Website we see that he has hit 33 songs on the top 100. With the focus hitting 250,000. And 7 songs in the top 10. Including a beautiful rendition of The Beatles, ‘The Long and Winding Road’..Been rated in the top 3 in Raleigh, NC. Has had over 129,000 streams on Spotify.

The past he was a former member with The Capitalists from New Bedford. Where the group will be celebrating their 50 years. Major achievement in which Tony is very proud of his brother band. Also he is a former member of the group, The Airwaves’. Tony is currently working on a new project called, ‘My Darkest Hour’. It’s about working on past material that were recording on Tascam Multi-track Cassette Recordings onto Digital. It’s about the problems recording on tape, lost material that he had gone thru the years. Decided it would great to include old recordings from 1994 with the new recordings on top. Using his voice as a background vocals, bass, guitars, keyboard and new VST Instruments recording.  He is also into using Ai Voice like he did with the single, ‘Carolinas the Heart of The Storm’ which is on Spotify.

Whats coming up for the future.  To be able to write a total 500 songs, 10 albums with Spotify Streaming Count of 1million that would be ultimate success. He has his own publishing with El Granda Music BMI thru Sugo Music Company based out of California which he is very proud off them helping out his success. And ArtistRack for their contributions in promoting.
